It has been a while! At the end of my last blog, I was worried we were going to be homeless. I have good news, friends. WE ARE SLEEPING AT THE TINY HOUSE AND IT IS OFFICIALLY OURS!!! God is faithful! Just to catch you all up... a couple of days after I thought we were going to be homeless, Matt called LOTS of people and had the water line tapped and the electricity turned on by the end of the week. The boy doesn't even like to call and order pizza, but by golly he took care of making sure we had a home to move into. Water. Check. Electricity. Check. It was time to start moving. Matt kept looking at me every day and asking when we were going to move stuff. I kept saying, "I'll do it tomorrow." Then finally he looked at me and said, "There are no more tomorrows, Chamie. We have to be out in a week and this is the last weekend we have." Blah. He was right. But I didn't know where to start. I knew this move would be different but I had no idea just how different it would be. So I started with the kitchen because every woman knows that if you pack up the kitchen first then you have the hardest part done. Just kidding. What I meant to say is you don't have to cook for a while. It didn't take long to realize that even though we majorly purged, we were still going to have to get rid of a lot of stuff. I started with appliances. Crock Pot- must have because Cooper's favorite meal is Mississippi Pot Roast Vitamix- must keep for lots of good things- like green smoothies Toaster- Duh...cheese toast, Eggos, and leftover Little Caesars Kitchen Aid mixer- definitely goes to grate cheese and make banana nut bread All that to say, I kept all the appliances. Obviously I was off to a great start. I kept at it and managed to get the kitchen all packed up. It was a hot mess. This picture still makes me cringe. Now to take the kitchen to the tiny house. We learned really quickly that you can only fit about three tupperware containers on the floor of the tiny house. We also learned really quickly that this entire process was going to be the worst move of our lives. The worst move...not the worst decision. Just making that clear. And it has been just that. It took me two entire days just to move the kitchen. That is not a lie. The process goes something like this. Take three tupperwares to the house. Unpack three tupperwares. Let us pause right there for a minute. While unpacking three tupperwares may seem like an easy task, it can take hours to accomplish. And it never fails that during this unpacking process, I will have to make a necessary trip to Ross, TJ Maxx, Target, and Bed, Bath, and Beyond to purchase the needed organizational supplies for the house. It is crazy ridiculous. While unpacking I have felt like I have been on a video game binge... ...playing Tetris. My brain is hurting. My back is hurting. There is no room left in the house. And i haven't brought my shoes over yet. Dread. Oh and there is also my soap collection. Oops. They were on sale! So that is how things are going. We are on day six of moving and I am off to unpack the next load of Tupperware. Oh...and we just found out the tankless hot water heater (yes, I have a tankless hot water heater!!!) only runs off propane. Good thing Matt has experience heating up water for a hot bath!

I read the whole thing and I must say you are a great writer. Moving stuff can sometimes be a pain, I swear.
